City Tower Hotel is located on King Hussein Street in downtown Aqaba, one of the main commercial thoroughfares in the city. Our central location makes us easy to reach from all major entry points into Aqaba, whether you are arriving by air, land, or sea.

From King Hussein International Airport (AQJ)

The airport is located approximately 10 kilometers north of the city center. The drive to our hotel takes around 15 minutes depending on traffic. Taxis are readily available at the airport terminal, and fares to downtown Aqaba typically range from JOD 8 to JOD 12. We also offer airport transfer services — simply contact our front desk in advance to arrange a pickup. Your driver will be waiting in the arrivals hall with a City Tower Hotel sign.

From Amman (by car or bus)

Aqaba is approximately 330 kilometers south of the capital city Amman. The drive takes around 3.5 to 4 hours via the Desert Highway (Route 15) or 4 to 5 hours via the scenic King's Highway, which passes through the ancient sites of Madaba, Kerak Castle, and Dana Nature Reserve. JETT and other bus companies operate daily services from Amman's Abdali station to Aqaba's central bus station, which is a 5-minute taxi ride from our hotel.

From Eilat, Israel (Border Crossing)

The Wadi Araba / Yitzhak Rabin border crossing between Eilat and Aqaba is located approximately 3 kilometers from City Tower Hotel. The crossing is open Sunday through Thursday from 6:30 AM to 8:00 PM, and Friday through Saturday from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM (hours may vary; check with border authorities before your trip). Taxis are available on both sides of the border.
